Composite Technology
Pergo has developed four
technical innovations designed to improve the products
Pergo Select and Pergo Original making them more durable
and hard wearing. The innovations are
Perstorp MLC Multi Layer Composite
Pergo Luster Gard, ,
PerCore Advanced Property System (APS) and
Dock Lock Technology (DLT).
WILD KIDS, HIGH HEELS?
DON'T WEAR OUT.
Perstorp Multi Layer
Composite (MLC)
consists of three layers of resin impregnated layers with
different properties.
The three layers - surface, decorative and
structural are bonded at high temperature and pressure.
The result is an extremely strong, stable and enduring
laminate flooring.
HATE CLEANING?
RELAX.
Pergo Luster Gard is a patented
system based on aluminium oxide strengthened upper
laminate layer which gives a drable crystal clear surface
for laminate flooring. This layer maintains the lustre of
the floor and makes it harder wearing.
PERCORE?
CORE OF EVERY PERGO FLOOR.
PerCore Advanced Property System
(APS) is a further development of the
characteristics within the composite support layer,
PerCore™. Tailoring the featuring within each layer in the
composite offers particular advantages. The outer layer
has been made more durable. The central layer is designed
to make the flooring flexible to install and glue. The
lower layer is created to deal with the environmental and
humidity conditions that are experienced when the flooring
is installed.
DuraCore™ 500 is Pergo's, specially engineered
core material with resin and wood fiber composites made
specifically for Pergo®
Select. DuraCore™ 500 is denser than competing, core
materials and provides greater resistance to water and
dents due to its high resin/polymer content. It is
designed to bond with Pergo® glue, improving floor
strength and stability. DuraCore™ 500 is only available
in Pergo® Select.
TWO LEFT HANDS?
NO WORRIES.
Dock Lock
Technology (DLT) is a combination of properties
that makes flooring simple to install. The Dock Lock
system has a thinner and thicker base which, among other
things, allows the adhesive to be spread more evenly
along the tongue and groove. Good adhesive distribution
ensures a stronger joint. The geometric form minimises
the risk of uneven boards. The new board matching
technique is combined with a composite layer, PerCore NG,
and Pergo Flooring Adhesive. The new DLT system is
available with Pergo Original and Pergo Select but also
with Pergo Family.
