Full Lifetime Structural Integrity
Warranty
Structural Integrity means that
Laurentian's brands of wood flooring
products will remain free from defective
milling and grading as long as the original
purchaser owns the house. Hardwood
flooring, being a natural product, will
continue to expand and contract through
normal heating and non-heating seasons.
Properly installed solid hardwood floors
may consequently experience some minor
separations between boards at different
times during the year. If minor separations
do occur, they are not covered by this
warranty.
Full Finish Wear Layer Warranty
The manufacturer warrants, to the original
purchaser, that its prefinished surface
layer will not wear through or separate
from the wood for a full 25 years from the
date of purchase, when used under normal
residential traffic conditions. This
warranty covers the Lakeside Collection
brands of solid wood flooring prefinished
with a UV-cured urethane finish containing
aluminum oxide.

Limited Warranty
The surface finish of this
prefinished hardwood flooring is
guaranteed for twenty five (25) years,
under the conditions of residential use
and wear, provided the flooring has been
handled and maintained in accordance with
instructions found in each box.
The surface finish is a no-wax. U.V. activated
urethane and is guaranteed against peeling and
wear through for 25 years from the purchase
date by the original owner.
SHould the U.V. activated
urethane finish fail to meet the above
conditions, the manufacturer will at it's
option; recoat the
floor, make compensation to the homeowner on a
pro-rata basis or replace the defective
flooring.
The manufacturer's liability for
any claim shall be limited to the
material costs of the above options as
originally purchased. The
manufacturer does not pay labour costs.
Responsibility for final inspection of the
product rests with the installer.
The manufacturer will not be held responsible
for any indirect costs related to the
claim.
The manufacturer will not be
responsible for the poor workmanship by
the installer, damage resulting from
misuse, sand, high heels, pets, failure
to follow manufacturing specific written
installation instructions, flooding,
fire, major water spills, or natural
disasters. The manufacturer cannot
guarantee the finish against clouding or
dulling resulting from abnormal use,
colour
change as the result of the sun's rays.
Warranty does not apply to flooring exposed to
excessive moisture and/or conditions when
humidity falls below 40%.
