Product Portfolio

IMaGES product portfolio comprises Red Oak, Maple, Birch, Ash, White Oak, Brazilian Cherry and Paraju. Red Oak is available in Natural plus eleven (11) colors. Maple is available in Natural plus two (2) colors and Ash is available in natural and 4 colors.

The IMaGES color selection is unique.  The colors in Red Oak are meant to enhance both the gold and honey tones of Red Oak in the lighter stains and to maintain the natural wood look in the mid and darker tones. The Ash colors have been formulated to bring out the best in the natural graining of the product. The colors in Maple are meant to enhance the natural white look of the product.

The Company has been particular about staying away from a painted look. All our stains have been developed to enhance the grain and maintain the "wood" look of the soft grain. This is particularly evident in the Red Oak. The water-base technology results in a whiter and clearer look to the wood than other product.

We refer to our finish as a "furniture look" with a 55% - 65% gloss level and a definitive highlighting of the soft grain. There is no mistaking our product for anything other than a high quality solid wood product.

For the oak product, the Company uses only Appalachian Red Oak to maintain consistency of the graining and color throughout the wood. No Southern Oak is used in the manufacturing process. For Maple, only Northern Hard Maple is used.

Our process comprises a state-of-the-art prefinishing processing line we installed in 1995 that provides a full seven (7) coat urethane finish – 1 base / stain coat (including a clear coat on natural for improved adhesion qualities and to protect against UV penetration and resultant traditional "yellowing" of the wood), 4 coats of sealer and 2 top coats. The company’s "Optimized" process maximizes the finish clarity, look and endurance of the 7 Coat system.

  • The finishing process uses a new, sophisticated water based technology. There are no solvents in the finished product ensuring a totally allergy free product.
  • Our precision milling allows us to have one of the smallest, if not the smallest V-groove in the industry.
  • Images product is V-grooved both on the sides and the ends.
  • The IMaGES product is produced in 3/4" thickness in widths of both 2 1/4" and 3 ¼" and is available in different grades varying from Prime to a Country "look".

The IMaGES product comes with a lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship for as long as the homeowner owns the home. Additionally, the Jancoat ™ finish is guaranteed not to wear through under normal residential traffic conditions for as long as you own the floor.
