inspection responsibility as to grade, manufacture and
factory finish. Image Hardwood Flooring is made from a
natural product and therefore cannot be perfect, and is
manufactured to accepted industry standards in which
defects of either a manufacturing and/or natural type are
acceptable up to a maximum of 5%. The Installer/Owner is
responsible for removing pieces with glaring defects
whatever the cause. Any pieces considered doubtful in any
way should not be used. Use of stain, filler or putty
stick during installation should be accepted as normal
procedure. 5% should be added to actual square footage
needed when ordering as allowance for cutting waste, or
mis-manufacture. Prior to installation of this or any

that the job-site environment and the sub surfaces
involved meet or exceed all requirements as stipulated in
the Company’s installation instruction for the product
being used. Janus Flooring Corporation declines any
responsibility for job failure resulting from or
associated with sub surface or job-site environment
deficiencies. The Installer/Owner has final inspection
responsibility as to grade, manufacture and factory
